The A. O. Smith University class schedule varies from month-to-month, and sessions range in topics, including residential, commercial, tankless and heat pump training. December classes include the following:

- 2, 10 A.M. CST: Contractor Live Show RE-3
- 7, 8 A.M. CST: Residential Training – Residential Gas and Power Vent
- 8, 8 A.M. CST: Commercial Training – Commercial Gas
- 9, 9 A.M. CST: Tankless Training – Application, How it works, Troubleshooting
- 16, 7 A.M. CST: Vertex, 100K BTU
- 16, 10 A.M. CST: Vertex, 100K BTU
As a result of COVID-19, most classes shifted to a virtual learning format. Our state-of-the-art broadcast studio located in Ashland City, Tenn., gave instructors the ability to provide real-time, full-scope demonstrations on a range of A. O. Smith products, so attendees could continue receiving the benefits of hands-on training in a virtual environment

O. Smith. “This month, we’re focusing on our tankless products, along with our commercial and residential gas and electric product lines.
A. O. Smith has two state-of-the-art training facilities, one in Ashland City and the other in Johnson City, Tenn., which both held primarily virtual training sessions this past year and a half with more than 100,000 combined participants. Both facilities are equipped to train technicians, contractors, and product representatives on a variety of products and topics.
Classes are taught on a two-way meeting platform, and there is a 50-person cap placed on all sessions to ensure participants have a high-level of engagement with instructors, as well as the opportunity to ask questions.
