      • The ProLine® XE 50-Gallon Ultra-Low NOx Power Direct Vent Natural Gas Water Heater utilizes an innovative burner system, a combination of radiant heat and excess air to comply with Utah, South Coast Air Quality Management District and other California Air Quality Management Districts with similar requirements of less than 10 ng/J for ultra-low NOx emissions. Featuring a 50-gallon (nominal) tank and a 40,000 BTU gas burner, the GPDNT-50 Power Direct Vent delivers a first hour rating of 75 gallons and a recovery rate of 43 gallons per hour. This model features a 0.70 Uniform Energy Factor and carries a 6-year limited warranty. Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss for maximum energy savings. This ProLine® XE water heater is designed with A. O. Smith's superior commercial-grade tank protection. Advanced tank features include stainless steel Coregard™ anode rod, Blue Diamond® glass lining and DynaClean™ automatic sediment-cleaning system, all designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.
